• I love my major, psychology. The workload is decent and the teachers are great! Classrooms are average.
• The academics offered are good, however I wish there were more sections of certain classes to get into. Registration is easy, and steps are easy to read.
• At Roberts, the workload can be very large especially for nursing majors. However, the professors are very willing to work one-on-one with their students to give them extensions or assistance. There is also writing centers and tutoring that is available on-campus. The registration process is actually not too complicated especially compared to some other colleges that make the beneficiary jump through hoops.
• As an English major, I find that it is important to absorb and appreciate marvelous works of literature. However, part of being an English major dwells largely on composition. Learning the proper techniques in writing is vastly important to those who seek jobs in the English department. At Roberts Wesleyan College there is a wide variety of different literary classes but very few composition classes. In order to continue to write properly, it is very important for a college student to constantly refine their writing abilities or else their editorial mind set becomes lazy. That is the one flaw amongst the many praiseworthy aspects in the English department. The professors that I have been privileged to learn from are knowledgeable and very caring. These professors thrive on the students opinions and create a very accepting and intuitive atmosphere within the classroom. Overall, my experience with the Roberts Wesleyan College English department has been very beneficial and quite instructive.
• Roberts is a christian school, but almost half of the people here are not. Some simply come here because of the quality of the education you can receive here. Yes, some teachers are harsh, but almost all of them are approachable, enjoy the material they teach, and offer some sort of extra help when needed.*(5)
