• Academics: The nursing program is fantastic. It is one of the most recognized in Mississippi. Once I graduate, I know I will be more than equipped to take on the role of being a nurse.
• Academics: Mississippi University for Women offers an array of academics. Each professor has their own style of instructing and will work with the student if they need assistance. We also have many places to study on campus that does not include sitting in the residence halls.
• Academics: This used to be a teaching school and that attitude still seems to exist. My professors were all very passionate about sending us out into the world prepared to succeed. It's a small liberal arts college so if you are looking for well rounded education with small teacher student ratio this is the place for you.
• Academics: I'm very satisfied with my education this far. All my professors are helpful and the atmosphere is the best.
• Academics: The Education program is great and most of the professors are really knowledgable.
• Academics: The registration process is so easy and the college makes sure that students enroll in classes with the help of their advisors. The most amazing thing is that advisors help you in finding classes that are in favor of your time even though some times it might be difficult to find all classes in the available time you need depending on the classes you are taking. The college advises students to always enroll earlier because this works in favor of students with special needs in finding the appropriate flexible schedule for their courses e.g working students.
• Academics: Registration was hassle free, literally. All I did was mail in what was needed ,and they took care of the rest. The professor over the art department, Professor Sean Dickie is really nice, and considerate. He gives you a warm family feeling when you first meet him. He also gave me advise on planning my schedule. The W offers various places to study such the obvious library, under the gingko tree, the campus Subway restaurant, the residence hall lobby, the gazebo, and the campus lawn.
• Academics: We get to be in the kitchen and learn hands on techniques and experience different foods from around the world. The food we get to experience are food I have never ate before and probably never would've got the opportunity if I didn't get to go to this school culinary program. The work load is light, but we are in the kitchen from like 5:00 to 9:00 the facilities are up to date . We have to do an internship in order to leave the program.*(4)
