学生评价

• The Social Work program at my school is very good. We do a lot of practice scenarios and hands on activities. The professors are very knowledgeable and willing to help anytime they can. The workload is very manageable and there are opportunities out in the community to give back and volunteer.
• The academics are so wonderful. The VACA program is new and so amazing!
• The professors are great. In my cirumstance, I had a heavy workoad. I did an accelerated program, so that was to be expected. All of the professors are very helpful and willing to give you insight.
• EMU is a good school if you are looking for a small campus and small class sizes. Not the college for someone looking for a big campus feel with many activities. Overall I have had a good experience at EMU.
• Being a small school means intimacy when it comes to knowing everyone and your professors, but it means there are less professors to teach required classes, as well as less options because of the smal population. However, the good outweighs the bad! Knowing all my professors know me by name is glorious, including my own department teachers. I am the first writing major at my school, giving me flexibility.
• I transferred to Eastern Mennonite University because it was close to home. I loved the community of faith and the intensive to work for the good of everyone. The university has a great business program with roots for peace and justice. A lot of team work and dedication is seen on the professors and on the students.
• Driven, and Love Their Classical Music. Music Majors take what they do very seriously at EMU. EMU is definitely the place to be if you're more involved in the classical realm. As far as anything more commercial, such as, music theatre, they are making headway, but you really need to have an appreciation for classical music as well. The music classes are challenging, and the workload is generally appropriate. There are certainly internship and job opportunities, especially if you're going into church music or music education. The one aspect in which EMU's music department is really lacking is the facilities.
• The biology (pre-professional health) program at Eastern Mennonite University is very strenuous and engaging. It allows students to gain the confidence they need to enter competitive professional health graduate programs.* (5)
