学生评价

• At Doane College there are lots of different classes you can take. Professors are above average and advisers do a good job getting schedules figured out but the workload tends to be a bit much, especially towards the end of the year.
• Doane offers a lot of different majors. If you were interested in the medical field Doane prepares you to get into nursing school and most of the people who want to become nurses or doctors get into medical school. Doane will prepare you for whatever it is you want to do.
• I am in Music Education. They Education department is very superb. The professors give you the tools to be a successful teacher, no matter what your subject area is. Doane is VERY helpful when it comes to finding jobs and applying.
• This school has everything you need to become successful. If you dont pass its because you dont do your work and dont go to class.
• Doane college is awesome. They have anything that you can use to help you graduate. They have a writing center, career center, and more. The teachers are always great and are willing to help you when you need it. The classes are small so you always get one on one time.
• Great, but Not Always Focused on Graduating. In the theatre department, there are ample amounts of wonderful classes that any person can take. They cover most/all of the things you will need to know at an undergraduate level. However, sometimes the advisors get so hung up on getting you into all of their classes, and forgetting about the fact that you want to graduate with a four year degree. The classes are wonderful, and the professors are great, but sometimes they focus too much on giving you the best education possible, and not the time you need to complete your degree in.
• Great Professors – My first semester classes have not been that tough, but I know that will be changing. The thing that's great at Doane is that I know I will be able to get the help I need at anytime if I do struggle with a class. The low student to teacher ratio is wonderful and helpful and I love all my Professors.
• Physical Edu – This major makes you work hard because you accually have to take up another major with it for you teaching certificate. Its a great way to go if you want to be a coach or loves P.E.* (5)
