• Student Body: We are just one body of students everyone is there for one common goal; which is to get in and hopefully transfer somewhere else. There is no discrimination.
• Academic Experience: Being as it is a two year collage, Shelton state does not have unique programs because it is to get the prerequisites out of the way.
• Academic Experience: The professors are amazing here at Shelton. For unlike high school they are not trying to spoon-feed the students information. They teach the lessons but they do treat us like adults. They respect us so they don't try to hound us for our homework. They do an amazing job at making sure the students know they are available for extra help. The class registration was easy and I could choose the work load so the amount of work was perfect for my schedule.
• Campus Resources: The resources on campus are amazing. The library's are always open so students can use them whenever they need. We have our own theatre for those who are involved with any of the theatre classes. This helps students complete their assignments since the theatre is on campus. They also provide free tutoring which is extremely helpful. Shelton is willing to hand out scholarships for basketballs players, and they have an amazing soccer and basketball center.
• Campus Resources: Shelton has any resource option students might need in the college career. From athletics, student centers, updated libraries, and a college newsletter to keep students up to date on college activities.*(4)
