• Academic Experience: I want to be an RN, the nursing program is outstanding here, there are alot of job opportunities are I graduate.
• Academic Experience: I am a music major at Southern Union. There are few opportunities here for my major, but am involved in everything possible. There is Show Choir, private piano lessons, private voice lessons and music theory classes. I wish there were more classes available, but it is a small school so it is understandable.
• Academic Experience: All of the academic classes offered are great. The professors know what they are talking about, understanding, and very helpful in any situations including life situations.
• Campus Resources: Your never waiting on a computer when you need to use it theres always one open.
• Campus Resources: Library is in depth and staff are very helpful.
• Campus Resources: I really enjoy going to the student center and the library. It gives me other opportunities to get out of the dorm and to meet new people.
• Campus Resources: The need to call my mother whenever I need something is important to me, but it is hard to find the service to make calls. Also, once I am in the dorms there are times that I get kicked off the internet. There is no strong signal when it comes to making calls or getting on the internet.
• Campus Quality: Here at Southern Union the environment is alright. All of the facilities are great but there is not anything else around here to do. It can get boring at times. Especially if one does not have to money to afford going off.
• Student Body: The student body is great. I am involved in the BCM group on Monday nights which is a good way to get plugged in. I know people from theater and show choir. Sometimes the people can be to their on groups, but one just has to make their way into the groups and get to know others even though it is tough because it is worth it in the end.*(4)
