Academic Experience: My program is Commercial Turf & Grounds Management. My program is awesome because my teachers care so much. They truly want us all to succeed and do what they can to help.
Overall Experience: The institution really does care. I think they are victims of being in a small town but I think the small town might be what makes it so great. It forces you to find new friends and try new things. The class sizes are very small and the teachers really are invested in your future. Because it is a technical college it can be very difficult to transfer credits earned there to universities, which is the only reason I might not do it over again. If you are looking for a cheap, quick, quality education, this school is a perfect choice. If you are looking to go here then transfer to a 4 year school, I would think twice.
Overall Experience: Linn Tech – I hate school! I do not usually do well in school but here I am learning what I enjoy doing. I enjoy my classes at Linn Tech. The teachers are helpful and encourage me. I already have a full time job when I graduate in May.
Campus Resources: Every Thing Is Brand New. Linn State Technical College has everything that I could have imagined and then some. It's clean, the staff is overly kind, and my fellow peers seem to be on the same mission that I am trying to accomplish.*(3)
