I was a student doing dual enrollment and early college classes but for the most part the college experience was great.
Allegany College of Maryland is a nice small college located in Cumberland, Maryland. The campus was always nice, clean, and peaceful. The college always hosted events in its college center to get students to interact with each other and to keep us engaged. The campus had many amenities and the staff was mostly friendly. The only thing I wish to see change is for the college to offer more art and music programs as of currently the only thing to do under those terms is the choir.
The instructors were caring and supportive. The assignments were discussed and explained very well. I felt like I had all the resources I needed in order to pass this semester. The support from all different departments were great and useful. I appreciate the professors emailing and reminding, us, students what is due which week and to make sure we stay on course with all assignments. I feel the instructors wanted us to succeed. With this being an on-line LPN-RN program and most students working as full-time nurses already this program makes it a way to keep your job and be a full-time successful student.
