Walters State Community college is a great way to start your college journey. There are several opportunities to interact with others and enjoy your time there.
Coming out of high school I had zero clue what I wanted to do with my life. Up until the last week of July I thought I was just going straight to the work force with no education. My mom told me to take a step back and see if that’s what I truly wanted, but I didn’t know what I wanted so I told myself might as well give this a shot. I hated it my first year no clue what to do with my life, didn’t know what I wanted to do or what I wanted to be, but I knew I couldn’t give up after going for a year. It all changed second semester sophomore year I decided to take most in person instead of online and one of my professors really helped me find some kind of fun in a class I didn’t like and going to a place like school that I cared nothing for. From that point on I’ve done everything I can to make sure my grades are what they should be and now I’m transferring to ETSU and hopefully find what I want to do and be able to look back and be glad I went to college.
I found that Walters State well prepared more for the intellectual part of nursing. I can frankly say that I learned a surplus of information there. However, I feel very unprepared clinically as a future nurse.
