Spartanburg Community College Reviews
Rating 3.88 out of 5 341 reviews
SCC was, overall, a great experience. The classes were always fun and taught everything you needed to know, and often then some. Most professors are very kind and understanding, and are always willing to help while they can, while also pushing you to do your best and improve. SCC has all sorts of resources to help you with your education, like free library services and tutoring. The life around campus is almost always buzzing, with various activities and events going on. There are also plenty of places to just hang and chill, or have fun with your friends. They even have Chick-Fil-A catering, and food trucks coming through every week. After my time here, I know I wouldn't hesitate choosing to go to SCC again.
Overall, I enjoy the diversity of classes offered at Spartanburg Community College. The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful with questions on topics and homework. I have taken both in-person and physical classes, and I appreciate the support provided by the teachers and guidance counselors throughout my educational journey. I like having the ability to choose my partners in labs and classwork. In my engineering classes in particular, I enjoy how customizable they are with being able to research project topics of my choice. Despite the stigma of community colleges not being as "challenging" as typical universities, I feel challenged and inspired by my classwork. However, I have had experiences in the past with late grading or the lack of posting grades. More specifically with the online classes I have taken, I would like for grades to be posted in a timely manner so I can be aware of how to make changes as needed with my studying. This goes for classes with completion grades too.
So, let me tell you about Spartanburg Community College. It's pretty awesome! They offer a wide range of programs and classes to help you pursue your passions and career goals. Whether you're into business, healthcare, or technology, SCC has got you covered. Plus, they have some really cool extracurricular activities and clubs to get involved in. It's a great place to learn, grow, and make lifelong friends. SCC is all about helping you succeed and reach your full potential. So, if you're looking for a community college that's supportive and offers a lot of opportunities, SCC is definitely worth checking out!
