Overall my experience has been up and down. I would recommend this school to people if they asked me about it but would share some struggles so that hopefully they would not experience the same thing I have gone through. I have liked all my professors except for one. Most of the professor for very helpful if you ask for help, respond quickly to email/canvas messages, and want to see their students succeed in their class. My struggles and change I would like to see is with the disability services. The change I would like to see is that the whole department knows which read-out-loud systems works with Canvas. I have been made false promises of systems working which made me distraught and severely impacted my score and overall grade.
I enjoy the school and it feels like a great study environment! I think that professors should have a yearly evaluation and should not just get to teach because they’ve been there for years and rate my professor should be taken into account when giving professors raises.
Overall, my experience at Everett Community College was a good one. There were setbacks, not because of the school itself, but mostly due to the system having issues that staff at the offices did their best to help me with. My professors were all people who wanted me to succeed, and I truly appreciated their support these past 2 years
