Rend Lake College Reviews
Rating 3.88 out of 5 141 reviews
With my personal experience at Rend Lake, I am proud to say that it is one of the best 2 year collages a person could attend. The professors, staff, and students are all amazing. I am going to Rend Lake on a softball scholarship and it is one of the best decisions I have made for myself. The coaching staff is 100% there for their athletes and always make sure to do their job. Rend Lake also has one of the best housing situations I have seen. Many colleges I have visited are small and not homey. This campus has the complete opposite. I feel like these dorms are perfect for student athletes attending the college. They are spacious, comfy, and make you feel as if you are living in a small home. It acquires all you could need and more. I am so blessed to be apart of the Rend Lake community. The only think I would like to see change about Rend Lake would be more healthy food options on the menu and more money handed out to the athletic program.
Rend Lake College is a small community college with beautiful scenery. The teachers are quite understanding when it comes to needing extra time or help on assignments, and with the in person classes, it feels like you really get to know your teachers. The only downsides are that the college is understaffed and isolated. The nearest large town is over 10 miles away by interstate, and most students (and staff) live even further away. The commute is not fun.
I have an athletic scholarship for softball. It is a great team with nice and thoughtful people. I love my experience at this school.
