There aren't really any changes that needs to be made. For the most part I attended school online. But when I did attend school on campus my experience was well. The students there are very nice, the proffesors are really nice and lenient! They loved making us smile and get interactive! Inclunding my proffessors online, they are really awesome people and I would recommend others to enter their course just to experience having them as their proffessor.
I took two of Washtenaw Community College's online classes for college credit as a junior in high school(PSY 100 and SOC 100). Overall, the experience was a positive one as I was able to complete some of my prerequisites early. The professors were relatively fast at getting back with me whenever I sent an email, and both classes I took pushed my writing skills as I was constantly writing on both topics that I was studying. In conclusion, Washtenaw Community College has helped me prepare for the college world set before me as I move on in my life.
I would always suggest Washtenaw as a first option to people. To me I didn't really have any idea what I wanted to do with my future. But I applied for a scholarship on a whim and that help shape my future! I ended up getting the scholarship to Washtenaw and learned so much in the process. At first I was scared to go to a big 4 year university, so starting at Washtenaw really helped me. I loved taking classes online and in person, both really great resources. One thing I would like to see change is the people. I think that that a lot of kids should start here instead of going to a 4 year university. I think that it will help them to take time and plan out their future. They don't have to jump right into the college experience, but they can ease into it. Seeing more kids here would be a great change and I think that it would greatly impact their futures.
