This is a great nursing program that I am enrolled in at CCC. I am very pleased with the education I am receiving. I am experiencing financial difficulties and would greatly appreciate this scholarship.
I first attended Clinton Community College in their nursing program, which is very competitive . You have an advisor that follows you and meets with you frequently. I became part of the nursing club at this time and was excelling in most of my classes. At my final exam review, my professors gathered at my table and proceeded to tell me how I had offended my classmates on my social media due to a few outfit choices. They then proceeded to tell me that I was craving attention and that I was the reason that Nursing was sexualized. I did make a complaint and nothing came of it, I even had to write a letter of apology to those jealous classmates. I switched to Human Services and have nothing but positive things to say about that programming.
Clinton is a great school. Their specialized programs with smaller classes really give students the best opportunity to thrive. The professors are experts in their fields and do everything they can to ensure that their students can excel. I have only taken one course so far and enjoyed it more than any of the other courses I've taken at the two other colleges I've attended in the past.
