Morton College is an excellent suburb community college in Cicero, West of Chicago. The time that I have here, I have been provided with endless resources to excel in my academics, and even outside in terms of getting closer and closer to my career. I feel extremely welcomed and appreciated by staff, the professors and students likewise. It is the best environment to grow and learn in order to better our chances of entering the workforce or transferring to a 4-year college/university.
At Morton College I really liked the versatility you had with your schedule with many classes being ran in the morning and night. As well as having the chance to take a number of classes online. The student life on campus is very unique but Morton College is making a clear effort to try and get more students involved on campus. One big negative to the school is they have no housing and the commute to the school can be very difficult because of the construction being down right by the school and there really only being one entrance to the school.
It is nice being at a small school because it allows others to draw attention to you. I never had to struggle with getting help because the resources are great and professors care about your success.
