Complemented by a robust science major, this program cultivates in-depth knowledge and practical skills, empowering you to tackle global challenges with innovation and foresight.  

With a focus on ethical and sustainable practices, our program fosters entrepreneurial thinking, positioning you for a myriad of rewarding career opportunities. 

In this double degree, you'll engage in both degree components simultaneously, ensuring a holistic educational experience. Within the Bachelor of Science, you will complete core units, select from Mathematics Core Unit Options, and pursue a major from a list of six different options. Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Business entails core units and a major in fields ranging from Accounting to Marketing.

With a double degree in business and science you could gain employment as a consultant, laboratory manager, venture capitalist financier, marketer or project manager within firms developing and taking scientific research to the marketplace.

Students are required to complete a total of 384 credit points, comprised of 180 credit points from the Bachelor Science program, 192 credit points from the Bachelor of Business program, and 12 credit points of QUT You units.

Business component:

  • eight Business School core units (96 credit points) *
  • eight major core units (96 credit points)

*Accounting major students complete six business core units and 10 accounting major units to allow them to complete professional requirements.

Science component:

  • Science core units - 60 credit points
  • Science major units - 120 credit points

QUT You - 12 credit points
