Admissions (PH.D., M.S. & Certificate)

As a graduate program within the Georgetown University Graduate School, the Master’s Program of Biostatistics, Ph.D. Program of Biostatistics, and the Certificate in Biostatistics or Epidemiology, within the Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Biomathematics are subject to all pertinent University rules and regulations. 

Applicants for admission must meet certain eligibility requirements set by the Graduate School and the Graduate Program.  Applicants are admitted by the Dean of the Graduate School.  Admitted applicants who confirm their intended enrollment will be eligible to participate in graduate student orientation and registration activities.

How to Apply

The Biostatistics Certificate Program requires an online application to be completed to the Biomedical Graduate Education (BGE) through the Georgetown Graduate School of Arts and Sciences application portal. Application elements, including letters of recommendation, are required to be submitted through the online application system. Only transcripts and test scores should be submitted independently by the applicant’s previous academic institution(s) and testing agency. Transcripts should be submitted to the Biomedical Graduate Education Admissions Office.
