I really enjoy their focus on the arts. There are four MState campuses, and Fergus Falls is the one with the focus on the arts. I have seen a lot of high schools loosing their fine arts programs because of money issues or because they want to put funding into sports. I think that more money should be put into fine arts. People want to be entertained, that means we need people who want to entertain. Do you have a favorite actor? They probably have a fine arts degree of some kind.
I have greatly enjoyed going to school here. Some of the office staff is a bid on the rude side when you cant recall your ID password or needing help with classes. Some are very helpful and made it easier for me to get through my classes.
My overall experience at M state has been great. My advisor was super helpful getting me registered for classes and making sure I was comfortable. My professor has been helping me get up to speed in al my my classes. He teaches us skills directly related to our desired job field and keeps us accountable. It's also nice to not have class everyday.
