I have attended gateway prior in 2015-2016 where at that time I was fresh out of high school. I felt for it to be community college, they definitely go above and beyond with connecting with students, hosting events, and being involved in the community. I received my CNA from gateway as well and the overall program was great and very hands on! Now I am attending for LPN-ADN bridge program and I am excited to see what I will accomplish .
Gateway overall is great. I think it really prepares you for the career you’re going into. I am going into nursing and it’s definitely fast paced and a challenge but it’s a great program. One thing I would change is the summer classes. One reason I chose gateway was because they offer summer classes. However it has a very limited number of seats and from the other classmate I’ve talked to there are a lot who want to take the summer courses. I think they should offer more seats if the demand is that high.
Since attending Gateway Technical College, I have been acknowledged and appreciated. I love how staff at gateway work with you, not against you.
