Pretty good professors. Health Sciences feels like a degree mill. Random degree options seem to just pop up out of nowhere without the addition of any new classes, they just shuffle around or rename the classes they already have to try to retain and graduate students. They have 100% acceptance and they love to brag about it... which would be great if they didn't have VERY limited spots for degrees that actually have any value. Make no mistake, this place is a business, not a place of education.
I really enjoyed attending this college. The online portion of classes I took were straightforward and easy to navigate once I got the hang of it. The class I did have online were more on the flexible side with deadlines, but they were reachable. Most of the teachers I encountered during my two years of college here were great. The location is accessible, very clean, and organized. I am so glad that I choose to tend this college for my first two years of college as I think it set a guideline of what college would be like and prepared me for a 4-year college which I am attending now. I have no regrets choosing them and I would tell anyone who is interested in going back to school to attend Blue Ridge Community and Technical College.
Very discriminating. Not accommodating. Some great teachers. Biology was not about learning nor biology. The business and agribusiness instructors were good. Great bio chem instructor. Fabulous communications teacher. Horrible administrative staff. Atrocious higher administrative staff. President and Vice President do not care and are very discriminating.
