De Anza College Reviews
Rating 3.77 out of 5 1,192 reviews
Being at De Anza college is an amazing experience. The staff and students here are extremely supportive and never overwhelming. I recommend this college to all that’s looking for an opportunity to built academics or just to learn in general, the environment here is very diverse and I enjoy it so much!
At De Anza Community College, forming strong connections with teachers has been vital for me, especially as a student with ADHD. I appreciate the faculty's kindness and understanding during times of stress and understating topics discussed in class. The professors offer extensive support during office hours and after class. They assist in planning assignments and tests to accommodate my needs. De Anza fosters a supportive environment with various clubs, for example, the LGBTQ+ club and Active Minds club and so many in between. De Anza offers a wide range of resources online and in person, covering financial aid, counseling, transfer application process, and mental health support. The counseling and mental health department provide unconditional support and understanding of every student's background. The therapy offered at De Anza includes 12 free therapy sessions with the most caring therapists. Overall, I'm grateful for De Anza's support and wouldn't change a thing.
I really like De Anza college because most classes are easy to get into and they offer both online and in-campus classes. I also like the fact that it is located in a safe community in Cupertino with lots of free parking areas to park. Food in the cafeteria is also good, of course each students have their own favorites. So far, as a freshman, I've been pretty lucky in choosing the classes with the most helpful and wonderful teachers/professors.
