What I Like:
Affordable Tuition
Small Class Sizes
Dedicated Professors
Transferability
What Could Be Improved:
More Course Offerings: While the core CS courses are available, I wish there were a wider variety of electives to choose from to explore subfields deeper.
Parking: Like many commuter campuses, finding parking can sometimes be a hassle, especially during peak times. More parking structures would be helpful.
Food Options: The food choices on campus are somewhat limited, with not as many affordable healthy options as I'd like. We especially need more Halal food options here as we have none.
Overall, while no school is perfect, I'm grateful for the opportunity SLCC has provided me to pursue computer science at a very reasonable cost with solid instruction. With an open mind and determination, I'm confident I'm building a strong foundation here.

My experience at Salt Lake Community College was remarkable. The faculty and staff were welcoming and supportive. The professors were knowledgeable and always ensured I understood the material. The campus was beautiful, and I felt safe and secure. The college provided many facilities, extracurricular activities, and clubs. The level of support offered to students was impressive. Academic assistance, career guidance, and emotional support were readily available. I highly recommend Salt Lake Community College for a high-quality education in a supportive and welcoming environment.
I've had a great experience with SLCC. The professors are engaging and lively, all have been easy to get along with and are very understanding. I actually feel like they want me to succeed. I often felt insignificant in middle school making this contrasting experience greatly appreciated. To credit SLCC I must mention that I will graduate high school with an associate's degree in general education thanks to the opportunities they have provided me. I have taken English, Criminal Justice, Chemistry, Art and a plethora of other courses that led to greater inquire in the intricacies and privileges of our society. Overall, I have enjoyed myself at SLCC and will always be grateful for their generosity.
