I started Black River Technical College at the age of 18. I have been both part-time and full-time during my enrollment. Having dyslexia was challenging as a high schooler, and although it is challenging as a college student I have ample amount of support from staff and instructors. I am currently enrolled in the LPN program at BRTC and am hoping to further my career with them after graduation, by attending the LPN to RN bridge program in 2025. I have had amazing experiences with this college and would encourage one who is starting out to attend BRTC just to get their feet wet. The smaller class sizes really helped me adjust to college life and made the experience enjoyable.
The staff and teachers are kind, helpful, and very accessible when you need help. The smaller classes help with more 1-on-1 connection with the teachers.
I was so thrilled to be given a chance to attend BRTC ( Black River Technical College). I enjoy the atmosphere as well every teacher I have come in contact with have been super helpful. I would like to see their campus expand a bit more and more student functions yet I still enjoy my experience.
