Admission to our graduate programs is open to students with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in physics, applied physics, chemistry, and materials science, or closely related areas of engineering.

December 15th, 2023 

(there is no Spring term admission.)

Non-Degree program (DSR):

  • Applications accepted on a continuous basis.

Requirements for All Applicants:

  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE):    

GRE General and GRE Physics Test scores are OPTIONAL.

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):

Applicants whose native language is not English and whose undergraduate studies were done at a university where the language of instruction was other than English must provide the results of their Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Please use institution code 3987. No departmental code necessary.
