Treasure Valley Community College Reviews
Rating 3.83 out of 5 340 reviews
Not all professors are bad, but they're not great either. Everything here is overpriced for being a community college if you're looking for affordability it's not that great. Dorms cost more than tuition. Most sports teams are embarrassing to watch not all of them though. Just check yourself on their website. The student services staff is not that great either. The business office lady has a hard time answering phone calls. Not that hard to make friends. It's like high school 2.0 in some classes, in other classes I was the youngest in the room by a lot. The security staff is great. That's as good as it gets. Don't purchase overpriced books from the bookstore. Maybe look online. Started my 1st yr here than went to another cc. They had way more resources and affordability opportunities even for textbooks. My buddy said good things about the aviation program. If you're not majoring in that. I would advise you to look elsewhere if you can!
I have had an overall good experience at Treasure Valley Community College. I am over half way through my freshman year and I have yet to have a bad experience. All of my professors have done really well at explaining their expectations on the work they give out. The other students who attend have all been really great and I have made some great lasting friendships. One thing I would like to see change is the cost of the needed materials for the classes required to get your degree. When working part time and going to school full time it has been challenging not only to pay for my classes but to afford the books or extra fees to attend the class.
I attend the treasure valley community college in Ontario Oregon and the professors there are the nicest. They want the students to succeed and they show it. Overall, I love this community college and community around it.
