I am an Early College student at CCV and have had an overwhelmingly positive experience there. The instructors truly care that you are learning the material and will take extra time if needed to explain things to you. Courses are not easy, especially 4 credit classes, but I find it's the perfect balance. Midterm week isn't too stressful either, as many of the exams are spread out (depending if there's 3 or 4 per semester). Online classes use Canvas and are simple to navigate. I couldn't have asked for much more out of a community college.
This is my first year taking any college classes, I am working full time as a LNA (licensed nursing assistant) in the intensive care unit at my local hospital and have nothing but very helpful teachers. I am taking 4 classes to hopefully get into nursing school next fall. The teachers have been so kind and helpful when I need help. If you need help on an assignment they will gladly help you. If you are sick or if something came up with life and you couldn’t complete an assignment they tell you to just get it done as soon as you can. They also will let you redo assignments if you don’t like the grade you received. Although online schooling is very difficult with technology and not being able to immediately get an answer if you are in a class room, the teachers try to help you the best the can through e-mail or even a phone call or text message. I would highly recommend this school to anyone!
I love it here! There are so many people with different points of view and so many campuses to choose from. Also a large variety of resources to use. I also love the variety of classes offered.
