I transferred to Lake Michigan College half way through my freshman year after attending a different community college out of state. From the start of my transfer process, the staff and faculty were supportive. All of the professors I have had have been understanding, helpful, and kind. I feel very prepared to transfer to a four-year university in the fall.
Lake Michigan College is like home away from home. The professors and instructors are so helpful. They want all students to succeed and are always ready to assist student with the academic journey. Everyone wants you to succeed over there. Julia is my advisor, and she has made such a huge impact in my life. She goes all out for both students and other staff members. My favorite teacher is Mrs. White but all the students call her coach she is very funny and makes classes fun and you will always remember what she lectured even after leaving class because he will liken it to something familiar you are aware of. Anytime I need assistance with anything related to my academic work, there was also someone to help, and that makes me feel at home. I just love LMC!
I like Lake Michigan College. Everyone there is easy to talk to, so it made being there easier. Classes were not super hard, but if I was struggling the professors communicated well.
