Early childhood education

Why study early childhood education?

We provide the professional training you need to promote positive development and learning in children in childcare, preschools or primary schools. You will be prepared for a career in early childhood teaching and gain specialist knowledge in early intervention.

If you are a professional working in the childcare industry you can upgrade your qualification to a Bachelor of Early Learning with our 2.5 year course.  Our fully online program gives you the flexibility to continue working full time while studying, and allows you to take up to 50% of your professional placements in your current workplace.

If you are graduating from high school or are looking to change your career, you can study the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) and learn to teach from birth to 12 years. This course has a focus on young learners, and you’ll graduate with the knowledge required to teach in primary schools and work in childcare and early learning settings.
