Overall, my experience at CCRI has been quite positive. I really appreciate the supportive and knowledgeable faculty who are always there to help and guide me through my courses. The campus environment is welcoming, and I've had the opportunity to meet some great classmates who have become friends. As for changes, I think it would be beneficial to have more extracurricular activities and clubs to enhance the overall student experience. It would also be great to see more resources dedicated to career services and internships to help students transition into the workforce. But overall, I've had a great time at CCRI
In the start of the semester classes were not bad and were welcoming. However, more into the semester students didn’t seem to care for classes nor did a couple of teachers. Morning classes were more welcoming and active compared to evening classes. I would have a teacher who would cancel out on classes multiple times and not give out homework or any type of work and only count on quizzes leaving the lectures to be cramped with information not being too specific due to having to quickly go through the curriculum. I would recommend having morning classes compared to evening classes since it can get lonely not leaving much social interactions.
I honestly loved going to CCRI. I felt safe there and the professors made sure to have a connection with the students and helped anyone who is struggling. The environment has always been and will continue to be welcoming. The spaces are always clean and it's so EASY to make friends with the other students in the class you might be taking. I would highly recommend CCRI to anyone who is just graduating High School or anyone who wants to continue their education because it's very affordable even after FAFSA.
