Personally, I would say my overall experience with Arkansas State University was pretty positive. I truly connected with most of my professors. Especially my Composition 1 professor. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful whenever I had any questions. I truly felt satisfied with my time there.
The ASU-Newport campus was ideal situationally for someone like myself; single, working mother, with one on the way. The flexible hours, accommodating and seemingly genuine staff were so inviting and helpful. The campus is beautiful and maintained year round and they offer full case loads with options to participate on campus or online. The best perk of all though was the absolute affordability of tuition cost per semester!! Talk about getting the most bang for your buck! I would recommend ASU-NEWPORT campus to anyone looking to further their education while leading a busy lifestyle!
Arkansas State University - Newport is a small, affordable college that I hold close to my heart. Before school even began, I met amazing advisors who helped me navigate the complicated web of financial aid and class schedules. All of them were very sweet, supportive, and were constantly on top of things - they would remind me of upcoming events or suggest scholarships that I could apply to. When school started, I met the most amazing staff - even the janitor and lunch ladies are absolutely kind and wonderful people to talk to. All of the professors I have met have been exceptional, especially Mrs. Emily Pasmore-Doyle. Everyone is always willing to help you at this university.
